Industrial machinery for the railway sector

With the arrival of high speed, the railway has once again become a benchmark in the transport of people. The trains exceed 300 km/h, transporting passengers directly to the center of the cities, quickly and safely.

Both in the manufacture of trains and in their maintenance, elements are required that allow access to all sides of the train, where there are parts that can be changed or maintained.

In some cases, these elements make access possible, lifting the train or wagon itself, freeing or removing the tracks through which the train accesses or safely positioning the operator in the corresponding place.

In addition, our machines allow both the handling of rolling elements (bogies, axles, wheels, etc), as well as heavy parts of engines and air conditioning systems.

Customized machinery for the railway sector

At Eyher, all our machinery for the railway sector is customized. Our developments use our experience in similar solutions and the comments of our customers to adapt our machines as much as possible to the specific needs of each case.

Bogies drop

For railway maintenance workshops. The replacement work is done by lowering the bogies vertically and moving them transversally to the direction of the vehicle tracks or longitudinally in the same direction as the train tracks.

If the change is made by making a vertical and transversal movement, the equipment will consist of two workstations, one in which the vehicle whose bogies are to be disassembled/assembled is positioned, and the other, the entry/exit position. of the bogies In this case, once the vehicle is supported by hydraulic jacks, the bogie will be lowered by means of electromechanical columns or hydraulic scissors.
